In addition to an elaborate Middle Eastern/Mediterranean buffet, you get a fresh entree, too, for only 9 bucks! You can't beat that anywhere. It's my idea of a dining adventure, but some would rather pay 3 or 4 times as much for the decor, the celebrity chef, and the right crowd in the right neighborhood. I guess they can afford it. Make yourself at home at Celaborelle
It's fitting that the Middle Eastern eatery Celaborelle operates out of an old house. That adds to the feeling you've been invited to dinner at the home of a Middle Eastern friend who's prepared an elaborate feast. And in a way, you have, considering that Celaborelle is managed by a member of the well-known Hedary family of restaurateurs. Hedary's builds on Lebanese traditions HERITAGE HOUSE: Since the original Hedary's opened in Fort Worth more than two decades ago, the restaurants that go by this name have been standouts among area ethnic restaurants. They serve Lebanese cooking of distinction and a certain originality.
Belly up to the buffet THE SCOOP: The chef is Youssef Hedary, oldest of four brothers who have followed their parents footsteps in operating high-quality Middle Eastern restaurants. The mother, Leila, runs the longstanding Hedary's on the west side, off Camp Bowie Boulevard; brother George handles Hedary's in Dallas; brother Marios helms Byblos on the north side; and brother Frank recently opened a restaurant in Las Vegas.
